Tech Trends is back to catch you up on the event technology industry. While it is sometimes hard to be excited in the middle of a February winter, we're definitely looking forward to EXHIBITOR LIVE at the end of the month. If you are also attending, please join us at the Stamm Social on 2/26 and have a chance to win an Apple HomePod!
Stamm Media was at ISE earlier this month scoping out the latest trends and nothing blew us away more than the holographic visuals of HYPERVSN by kino-mo! Take a look at the video above to see for yourself!
Earlier this month at the Integrated Systems Europe show, Samsung debuted a 3D version of its large LED screen. Some may remember last year Samsung unveiling their 34 foot LED screen which can be used as a replacement for traditional projection screens in theaters. The addition of 3D capabilities is one step closer to Samsung changing the industry. Engadget has it covered here.
This isn't technically tech trend news from our friends over at Nimlok, but it ties to an important idea in our industry. With CES and ISE happening in the past two months, it's easy to fall in love with all the new technologies, but your brand and your message should always come first. We can enhance, augment, and attract with the latest event technology, but without a strong brand message it can fall flat. It's a balance and we're here to help you find it.
As you can see from the image above, our experience with live video streaming - Facebook Live in particular - goes back a few years, but its popularity is growing exponentially. As Trade Show News Network writes, event professionals are fully embracing live video to drive interest and measure impact. Live streaming on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Periscope, and others will continue to expand as audience engagement, both at the event itself and the outside world, increases.
As always, give us a follow on Twitter for more news, pictures, and the occasional check in around the office. This month it was National Pizza Day!
