Blowing Up Sponge Bob

Project: Nickelodeon Touchscreen Video Server
For Comic-Con, Nickelodeon wanted to do something big. Stamm Media was brought in to build a giant angled LED video wall, upon which Nickelodeon content was to be shown.
Nickelodeon wanted to give control of the video wall over to the attendees, so Stamm built a custom branded touchscreen application to browse and play Nickelodeon video clips. Clips included an ode to Sponge Bob, previews of upcoming shows, and an overview of the schedule of Nickelodeon Comic-Con events. Equipment was kept to a minimum by driving both the touchscreen and LED wall off one computer.
In true trade show fashion, many changes were requested and fulfilled between set up and show open including removing and reordering clips in the touchscreen library, and updating the logic of how events were presented. These updates were made from our offices in Milwaukee, and transferred to show site via ftp.
