Project: Gilead iPod Touch Donation Generator
Gilead Sciences, a research-based biopharmaceutical headquartered in Foster City, California wanted a fresh solution for their booth at CHEST 2008. Stamm took the teathers off and developed a truly mobile solution. Attendees referenced printed panels in the Gilead booth and answerd a series of 10 questions loaded on one of 50 iPod Touches. Each time they answered a question correctly, a donation of $20.00 to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association was collected. A custom display application showed the donation total on a large plasma screen.
This solution left the booth clear of "kiosk clutter" that permiates the trade-show floor, and allowed more attendees to particapate at any given moment.
